Description

This hearty rice is a great source of nutrients and fiber. Experiment with the many varieties available. Serve it in place of white rice for any lunch or dinner meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown rice, rinsed with cold water
  • 1 1⁄2 cup water

Instructions

Add 1 cup of rinsed brown rice to 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to a boil, turn heat down low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes.
