Bio
My practice philosophy of physical therapy is to treat each patient as I would want to be treated. As a physical therapist I coach and equip each patient to help them help themselves in their rehabilitation process.
Because I had personally experienced and enjoyed the benefits of physical therapy, I chose physical therapy as my profession to help others return to and improve their physical condition.
I began working for Kaiser in December 2002. Having been a Kaiser member for many years, I have witnessed the constant improvement in delivery of service, which is one of the reasons I like practicing medicine here at Kaiser. I also appreciate the preventative care emphasis and the value our organization places on and responds to our member/patient's input.
My professional interests include teaching functional anatomy and physiology, specifically in the area of arm and hand rehabilitation as it relates to occupation and recreation.
I grew up in Buffalo, New York and Napa, California. I graduated from San Jose State University with a major in Music, obtained a Masters Degree in Career Counseling from John F. Kennedy University, and a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma Washington. |
