Stacey Nuccion, MD

Bio

I am a local Northern California girl raised in Napa where I attended Justin Siena High School. My undergraduate degrees in Psycho-Biology and Classical Civilizations were obtained at UCLA. Getting lost on Hwy 80, I ended up in Chicago at Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine for my medical school training.

Returning to my senses and to California, I completed my residency in Family Practice at Santa Monica, UCLA. I started my tenure here at Kaiser Santa Rosa in 2002 and look forward to a long career in one of the most beautiful places to live.

I feel very lucky to have been exposed to wonderful physicians early in my life - all of whom happened to be Family Practitioners. For me the choice was obvious. I enjoy treating families and thrive on seeing a variety of health concerns on a daily basis. The key to maintaining a healthy body is through preventative health care!!

My parents still live in Napa, where hopefully soon my dad will retire. Until then, he is a hard working banker and my mom is a retired nurse.

I have two wonderful kitties - Chester and Schultz - or actually I think that they have me!

Travel

Favorite place in the world:

The greatest trip that I have had was a tour to Italy with my parents in 2004. Given my Classical Civilizations degree, the most thrilling part of the journey was exploring Pompeii. My roots are Italian and I feel a certain draw to the country in general and look forward to returning to continue the exploration. If you visit, you will see scenes of Venice on the walls in my exam room.
