Welcome to my home page. I hope you find the available information helpful. You will a find a number of links to sites that may be of interest to you.
I am a licensed clinical social worker in practice for more than thirty years. My work has been primarily in community mental health & hospice/bereavement before joining Kaiser Psychiatry in 1996. My current job includes coordinating the intensive outpatient program for adults in crisis, liason to adult psychiatric inpatient hospitals & case management for the seriously mentally ill.
It is a pleasure to work with a team of professional competent clinicians who work very hard to provide a variety of programs to assist people with emotional difficulties. The variety of treatment options enables us to provide many possibilities for education & amelioration at times of difficulty.
Regarding my background, I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology/Sociology from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina and my Masters in Social Work from Florida State University in Tallahasee, Florida. I worked for 15 years in Colorado at Aurora Community Mental Health Center emphasizing Older Adults.
I have been fortunate to be married for more than thirty years & enjoy exploring California hiking, backpacking & walking on the beach.
Other hobbies include cooking, gardening, yoga & reading.
Please feel free to contact me with your concerns. My preference is by phone at 571-3737 during my work hours 7am to 5pm Monday through Thursday.
