Bio

I have been with Kaiser Santa Rosa Adult Psychiatry since 1999, first as a Post-Doctoral Fellow for one year and since then as a staff psychologist. I work on the Adult Team and see people individually and in groups in our outpatient clinic. Currently, I am co-leading a women's issues group, and a mixed adult group focused on issues of divorce and separation.

I have an interest in trauma and have developed a program for working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - PTSD. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing - EMDR - and use this technique when it is clinically relevant and appropriate.

My approach is focused on helping people to find the best way to help themselves. To do this it is very important to first develop a trusting alliance with those who come to see me. I make every effort to meet people where they are and tailor our work together to their unique needs. At Kaiser we have a lot of things to offer that may help people to address their needs and I advocate using all the varied services available when appropriate.

I am an active committee member working on program development in our department to meet the needs of all who come seeking help.

You may contact me by leaving a confidential message on my voice mail at (707) 571-3781. Using voice mail protects your confidentiality.
I am also available thru secure e-mail if I am a care provider for you.
I make every effort to respond to calls as soon as possible.
Please note that I am not in the office on Mondays.

Active involvement with the natural world is at the core of most things I enjoy. Hiking, camping, traveling, scuba diving, skiing, animal-loving, writing, visual art, music, film are all interests I enjoy.
