Meet Our Staff

We're so proud to have teams of doctors and nurses who not only are excellent at their work but enjoy healing others and are motivated from the heart. We also have an amazing support staff that keeps everything running smoothly. As a nonprofit organization, our doctors, nurses and staff are focused on the delivery of high-quality health care and services and what they think will help each and every person who comes to us about their health, rather than on short-term stockholder demands. We are driven by the needs of our members and our responsibility to the many communities we serve.

Labor Management Partnership

Labor Management Partnership Logo

The Labor Management Partnership (LMP) was formed in 1997 by Kaiser Permanente and the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions as a way of creating an operating strategy for a high performance organization. This strategy would be identified by union, management and physician leaders alike. Each employee is an expert in her or his job, therefore the key to high performance is to fully engage union members and leaders in identifying and solving problems, creating business plans, and redesigning work processes. Kaiser Nurses

The Kaiser nurses go above and beyond as part of their daily work and are currently on their way to Magnet recognition, a prestigious award for nursing excellence. Our nurses and staff work closely creating an innovative and thriving environment resulting in a high employee morale and high patient satisfaction. Our nurses also frequently pursue leadership roles as nurse managers, consultants, or educators in their area of specialization.

Nursing Pathways

Nursing Pathways is a program dedicated to improving all aspects of nursing at Kaiser Permanente. The six Nursing Pathways - workplace, leadership, learning, practice work environment, nursing research, quality, and patient safety - address key areas identified by nurses as critical to a supportive environment.

Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre Programs

Keinya Williams Lawrence was in 2nd grade when she saw "Professor Bodywise" at Loma Vista Elementary School in Vallejo courtesy of Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre Programs (ETP).

"The character I remember most was 'Nikki Teen the Soccer Queen,'" said Lawrence, now 30. "She was huge and she was fun, and I was really impressed by her non-smoking message. I guess she must have had a strong impact on me, because I've never smoked a day in my life." Read More
